The natural boundaries to the south (river Tronto) and east (Adriatic Sea) are well defined, while to the north and west are not so identifiable. The high urban expansion in the territory squeezed between the sea and the hill does not allow easy reading of the limits of the town.

Torre dei Gualtieri (o Torrione)
More properly called “Keep the Rock” and more popularly known as the “Tower” perhaps it’s the most representative of the city, standing out from the heights of the High Country to dominate the entire village.
